Introduction
This example was submitted by Dr Jane Partner (University of Cambridge), and it combines academic essay and poetry in order to discuss the complex evolution of universal language projects.
Research
In this essay, Partner aims to trace the evolution of the universal language project, and attempts to create a universally shared human language from Early Modern times to computer languages. She also creates visual poems using the language.
These visual poems allow Partner to discuss further the visual characteristics of these ‘universal language projects’, their alphabets and their expressive power.
